 四年前の空間図面が残っていたので、二年前の三人でのグループ企画展時のものも横に並べて、個展における作品併置計画の再調整を行う。数日前までは大雑把な展示景を浮かべるだけだったが、空間の寸法から測って、七作品ほど展示除外することにしたのは、今回の展示作品が総てオイルペインティングであり、これまでとは異なり若干であっても余白が必要であることに理由がある。中央の床にて、積木のインスタレーションの併置を考えたけれども、同じ理由で夏の企画展へと見送ることにした。筆を持つ制作時には手元が灯る視野狭窄の感覚ではなく、振返って時間を含めた足跡を眺める目が、訪れる観客のそれとイコールになるわけではないけれども、謂わば自白的な露呈、あからさまな態でしかない私の作品展示景は、判り易い言葉で示すことのできるものではなく、ひとりの人間の老境進捗を示すのみであって、個人的には、自身の手間の不足した庭を公開するような気分だ。
